Toronto, Ontario (March 23, 2012) -- Portsmouth™, Quince® and Quentin are just three of American Standard's most popular collections that now feature Oil Rubbed Bronze, an antique old world look that is staging a comeback, taking home design by storm.
This muted dark brown finish, which simulates aged bronze, is highlighted with authentic copper, adding a rich, deep tone to kitchens and bathrooms. "It's a classic, aged-look finish that complements popular cabinet hardware, lighting and other accessories beautifully," says Nunzio DiCesare, Brand Manager, Faucets, American Standard in Canada.
To achieve the look of authentic age, each Oil Rubbed Bronze faucet is distressed to create a “lived in” look that adds credibility to its time-worn appearance. At the same time both traditional and elegant, the new Oil Rubbed Bronze additions are a friendly complement to traditionally inspired fixtures and furniture.
This new/old finish gives homeowners an alternative to standard finishes such as Polished Chrome when adding or replacing faucets and accessories in their kitchens and bathrooms.
